Project Creation Questions

What are the requirements for creating a project?

To create a project on CrowdFundPi, you need to meet the following requirements:

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid Pi wallet
  • Provide real identity information (only for verification, will not be made public)
  • Your project must comply with our platform rules and terms
  • Prepare project descriptions, images, videos, and rewards settings
  • Pay 31.4 Pi for project listing fee

What do Soft Cap and Hard Cap mean?

Soft Cap is the minimum funding goal that the project must reach. If the project fails to reach the soft cap before the crowdfunding period ends, all funds will be returned to backers, and the project is considered unsuccessful.

Hard Cap is the maximum funding amount the project can accept. Once the hard cap is reached, the crowdfunding automatically ends and no longer accepts new supporters.

Setting reasonable soft and hard caps is crucial for project success:

  • The soft cap should be the minimum amount needed to achieve the basic project goals
  • The hard cap should consider the maximum amount of funds you can effectively manage

How long does the project review process take?

After submitting your project, our review team typically completes the review within 1-3 business days. During the review, we check:

  • Whether the project complies with platform rules and legal requirements
  • Whether the project description is clear and accurate
  • Whether the project goals and plans are feasible
  • Whether the creator's identity has been verified

If the project needs modifications, we will notify you of specific suggestions by email. The revised project will re-enter the review queue.
